Coatings & Additives

Coatings contain an array of refractory minerals that improve surface finish and reduce burn-in and veining. Water or alcohol based coatings can be dipped or sprayed. Sand additives help reduce surface defects in steel and iron castings by allowing the core to absorb more heat before the binder degrades.
